Under 15's v Worfield/Quatt 3rd May 2009
Madeley’s fielding and bowling was good and both Captain and Vice Captain managed the team very well.
We were under extreme pressure after being set the huge task of reaching 266 runs to win.. Madeley made a consistent effort for the remainder of the match and completed their target of batting for the full 40 overs reaching a total of 156 for 9.
We were well beaten in the contest but triumphed by reaching our goals.
Madeley can be proud of their achievements of the first match of the season.
