Week 15  -  24th July

1st X1

Shelton are bowled out for just 108. Unusually all 10 batsman were out caught. Best bowling was from Richard Firmstone who took 4 wickets for 43 off his 16 overs. Madeley then knock them off easily for the loss of just 3 wickets

2nd X1

The seconds also ease to another win but this time they lose 6 wickets in chasing down just 70 runs. Sagar Jeram has a good return with 5 for 15 off 6 overs.

Summer School

Madeley Cricket club would like to invite you to it’s cricket coaching course in the school summer holidays. The courses will be held at Madeley Cricket Club Ground, Park Street, Madeley.

The dates for the courses are:

Monday 26th July to Fri 30th July.
Monday 9th Aug to Fri 13th August.
Monday 23rd Aug to Fri 27th August.

Courses will run from 9am till 3pm, comprising of batting, bowling and fielding coaching in the mornings and fun kwik and pairs cricket matches in the afternoon. All coaches are E.C.B qualified and CRB checked. Fridays of each course will consist of a pairs cricket match in the afternoon which parents are welcome to come and watch. Ages from, 6yrs-13yrs. All Equipment will be provided Children will need a packed lunch and plenty of water, outdoor clothes, hats and hopefully sun cream. Any repeated bad behavior, the coaches reserve the right to exclude anyone from the course without a refund. Certificates will be awarded to all players plus medals for competition winners.

Price :   £50 per player per week
            £85 per player per week & sibling
            £12 per player per day
