2nd X1  v  Bomere Heath  10th May 2008

After the hottest weather of the year so far Madeley's Second X1 arrived at
a VERY VERY wet Bomere ground due to an overnight storm.

Madeley skipper won his first toss of the season and invited the home team
to bat on a green wet wicket. The host were soon in trouble and after 10
overs the score read 9-3. Bomere were eventually bowled out for 62 thanks to
some good bowling from Steve Faux and Jamie Lloyd who finished with figures
of 6-21 from his 16 overs.

Madeley's reply was swift and the game was duly completed after 21 overs and
for the loss of only three wickets.

This was a excellent performance in very difficult conditions.
